Parts like the Otterbox bracket and the side jug bracket only mount to subframes on California KLRs with a mounting bracket for the charcoal cannister. However, one of my customers came up with a plate that clamps to the side of non-CA KLRs and allows mounting of these parts.
The original was made from 1/4" Lexan, but you should be able to substitute 1/8" aluminum if desired. To download the template file, right click here
