This bracket mounts a Maier Enduro Jug where the smog cannister would go on CA-spec bikes. (It is ILLEGAL to remove emissions control equipment; install this kit only if your KLR was manufactured with a CA subframe and no vapor cannister.) Note that non-CA bikes DO NOT usually have the required mounting bracket on the subframe; check yours before ordering. If you do not have the bracket, you can build an adapter.
NOTE: It appears that Maier is discontinuing the enduro jug. Make sure you can still get one before ordering the bracket.
The bracket will fit either the 1-qt or 2-qt endruo jug. I have not yet tested these off-road. The kit comes with the bracket and mounting screws. The enduro jug must be ordered from a Maier dealer.
